According to Quaz51, the internet tech warrior that brought word of MGO’s resolution-based shortcomings over the weekend, has posted here (post number 513) claiming that the PS3 version of GTA IV runs at 630p (1120×630) compared to the 360 version’s 720p (1280×720).
This appears to mean that the 360 version has a whopping 24.5 percent extra resolution over the PS3 game.
Quaz51 still reckons the PS3 version looks better, however, due to superior processing effects.
We’re reliably informed that the tech community has been kept guessing on the issue by the fact that Rockstar appears to have only ever released Xbox 360 screens of the game.

Untrue. You can’t tell the native resolution of a game based on screenshots (as that’s what he’s basing it off of) seeing as the screenshots are outputted from the system at 720P (monitors would not be able to handle an off standard resolution) Quaz is an idiot. He’s just a fanboy trying to spread rumers. Even if the native resolution isn’t 720P, you would need to have the game in order to tell what the system is upscaling from by doing multiple tests, not looking at screenshots.

Idiots. Anyone who has written anything on PS3 knows there is no such available clock mode for the PS3. Frikkin fools. Its true the ps3 just upscalesit to 720p but is actually native 630p , its true the PS3 is a overpriced heap of shit and GTA vi looks and plays beter on xbox
