Gta 4 on pc ? lol , lets try to run it

Surfing Youtube, got my eye on crazy video about a man who run GTA 4 on PC.

Sure many of you have seen it. And probably thought it’s FAKE!

So, believe it or not, here are real ways on how to run GTA 4 on PC. I got Xbox 360 so I can play GTA 4 in original way, but if someone wants to play it on PC – here are very useful tactics. Try and enjoy!

So lets go .

First Way – Xbox 360 Emulator

1.) Download GTA 4 Xbox 360 DVD-rip or ISO ( torrents )

2.) Download Xbox 360 Emulator and Programs here

3.) Extract emulators to the different folder

4.) Open xISO program, click OK on the pop-up’ed message

5.) Tools -> xISO Studio -> Load GTA 4 ISO/RIP here -> File -> Save (Wait ~ 10 min.)

Done? Good! Let’s continue!

6.) Open Xbox Backup Creator. Then, Options -> Drive Specific, and mark D162C ; Xbox 360. Then, Image Tools -> Xbox ISO Type, mark Xbox 360 there and click Image Browser

7.) File -> Open Image File -> Choose downloaded GTA 4 ISO rip. Then choose default.xex file -> right click -> Extract (choose directory)

8.) Find that default.xex file and rename it to default.xbe

9.) Open xISO program again. Tools -> Patchs -> “XBE: Devkit -> Retail”. Then choose renamed file and click OK. “Patched Successful” message appears. OK

10.) Open Xeon program and get this message: “Xeon.ini not found, writing new file with defaults. Startup complete.» Close it.

11.) Open Xeon program again. Options -> General -> UNmark “Use Log File” and “Show Framerate”. Then adjust Graphics and Audio options as you want.

12.) File -> Load XBE -> Choose default.xbe file, the renamed one. Click OK. Error message appears. Click OK one more time.

13.) File -> Load XBE -> Choose your rip as .XISO and click OK

Second Way – PS3 Emulator

1.) Get GTA 4 playstation 3 disk ( from torrents for example ) and download emulators here

2.) Download BIOSes for emulator here

3.) Extract Emulator. Find BIOS folder in root catalog. Put there downloaded BIOSes. Then load ePSXe.exe

4.) Config -> Wizard Guide. Do all setups as you want and click OK

5.) Switch xPSXe OFF and then ON again. Put GTA 4 CD in your rom

6.) eSPXe click File -> Run CDROM

Try and post in comments about your successes . Maybe you get luck and it runs on your pc ;)

    Well done with the movie, but even that is fake.

    At the moment im looking for an other way, I’ve read the game should get decoded with an XNAprogramm. But im affraid it’s quite impossible to play gta4 on pc:(

    Nie wiem czemu, ale mam ten sam błąd co napisa Geek.. Zrobiłem wszystko tak jak jest opisane wyżej (mow tu o xboxie 360) i jak ładuję ten plik default.xbe to jest “Error: Failed to load XBE file!” a potem jak chcę spróbować z tego drugiego .XISO - to samo.. Na tym filmiku widzę Tyskie :DDD to może kolega który gra na laptopie pomoże.. Mój komp: GeForce 8800 GTx, ram 1024, procek 2 rdzeniowy 2,6 GHz… Ten laptop nie będzie miał większych CPU niż mój a jakoś mu GTA IV chodzi..

    Hwy man, do you think that, that men was playing GTA 4 with emulator. This is bullshit.

    He connected his X-BOX to his PC. This is all.

    And everybody can now that an emulator requires a great system. So, any of our computer can’t run these emulators.
    I know that even PS2 emulator requires;

    Dual Core/3.2 Ghz/2 gb of Ram…

    And we are not stupid to download 7,5 gb for GTA 4…
    IT IS WASTE OF TIME..

    Now I’m going to buy a XBOX, and play it!

    every1 is using the xeon emulator right? i also read some stuff in the read mes tht come with the emulators, some of the programs with the emulators dont work properly cuz some ppls drivers dont have the right firmware, it recoommends the aspi v4.6 but can get v4.7 at download.com, w.e gta iv is coming out on pc on november 30th, at least here in canada it is:P

    This is fake. There is a video recorded when playing GTA 4 on a real console XBOX 360 attached to a TV. You can see his hand on the mouse, but no moves, he is moving his fingers very slow on the keyboard. I made a video like that some time ago, and I know the feeling, to make some visits on my Youtube video. ha ha, really fake.

    I can’t believe people really tried that. For the love of God, there’s no X360 or PS3 emulator. That’s impossible to emulate these consoles with today hardware. We can barely run a PS2 or Gamecube emulador… Maybe in 2025 we’ll be able to emulate for real.

    GTA4 will come to PC eventually, just wait.

    So many flaws with the design of the 360 tutorial: 1) You take the .ISO image you torrented and turn it into an XBOX ISO, or .xISO image. And after turning the .ISO image into a .xISO image, it wants to extract the default.xex file from the .ISO image. Shouldn’t you be trying to take that file from the .xISO image? 2) Even after renaming the default.xex file to default.xbe, the extracted default.xbe doesn’t lay a path for the emulator to access the other files contained in the .ISO or .xISO image. It’s just a 12MB, useless file. 3) The readme.txt for the Xeon executable says it will only work for the original Halo title. And the Cxbx emulator included in the package doesn’t have much for help information, but it too will only access the useless default.xbe file, just like the useless Xeon executable. I haven’t tried the PS3 version but after going through all that nonsense, I don’t believe I should waste my time. Only thing I got outta this was the XBox Backup Creator Program - I think that could come in handy when I learn how to use it in the future.

    heck, on step 13 when I tried to load the .xISO image file that I created, the Open dialog box wouldn’t even allow me to choose the .xISO file. And when I tried to choose ALL FILES or .xISO files as FILES OF TYPE, the only option to choose is a .XBE file. definitely FAKE.

    Fake tried both, ps3 and XboX 360 way. bigtime fake it doesnt work.

    Also why the **** would it work by renaming the default.XEX to XBE ??? thats like changing an EXE file (windows executable) to a DMG file (apple executing file)

    So funny, i just gonna buy an Xbox 360, all games comes first for Xbox and PS3 then after a year maybe for pc.

    So plz people don’t waste your time on downloading this, i tried it both ways and it siply doesnt work.

    BIG FAKE. THE MOVEMENTS HE MAKE ON MOUSE AND KEYBOARD DONT EVEN MATCH UP. PLUS YOU CAN HEAR SOME GUY IN THE BACKGROUND ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME. AT 1:21 HE GETS OUT OF THE CAT BEFORE THE GUY EVEN HITS THE ENTER BUTTON.

    some problems… the xbox backup creator isn’t work. error:run-time error ‘339′:component ‘CMSCOMCTL.OCX’ or one of is dependencies bot correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid. On vista ulimate 64 bit, I download MSCOMCTL.OCX, put it to system32 directory, but xbox backup creator isn’t work.

    When I am at step 13 it appers same error like at step 12…. Why here is’t some step 14 ? and why is in emulators some program what i don’t have used ? CXBX ?

    well:
    1.there is a high a posibility it doesent work on a lot of pc(why:Because u need a LOT of memory:look at screenshots)
    2.even if this works first make a calculation if u have any chances(u need a 64 bit system for good playing)
    3.xbox and ps3’s are JUST for games…so they fully concentrate on that…and they are more powerful than a pc(why:Because IT doesen’t run any shitty full of viruses programs and no windows running or any lie that..)
    4.just think… Emulator..simulates an xbox on pc right?
    so ur pc needs to be better than the xbox cause its still running windows
    5.LAST AND MOST EVIDENT I dont think rockstar guyz made any button movements or any camera for mouse…U NEED a joystick

    Xbox=FOR GAMES
    PC=UNIVERSAL:programming,games,etc…it is not specialized like Xbox

    yeah the movie it’s a funny fake…but the emulators aren’t fiction…i played halo 3 xbox 360 version on pc with a xbox 360 emulator…and i playes at my neibourgh Assassin’s Creed ps3 version on pc with an emulator…it’s just hard to start…but after you learn it’s piece of cake!

    IT WORKS, thank you soo much, finally i get to play GTA IV on the PC. I have a Pentium III Tripple Gigaflopp, and it runs very smooth here, only when i enter a MOTORBIKE, it starts jiggling. but i think that is because of the Assphalt and not the COMPUTER. I think the GTA on PC is the coolest thing ever since MARIO was invented!! Mario Rocks!

    hey help me xbox360 emulatar pacher not worken erroo not sopported 8.) Find that default.xex file and rename it to default.xbe

    9.) Open xISO program again. Tools -> Patchs -> “XBE: Devkit -> Retail”. Then choose renamed file and click OK.
