About a week ago, Xbox 360 Fanboy reported info regarding the next Forza Motorsport - thanks to a leaked survey from Intellisponse - and that the acclaimed racing series could possibly be shipped on 2 Dual-Layered DVDs - thanks to the bevy of new stuff likely being added (400 cars! 100 tracks! Driving Assist!). Well, one of our sources – thanks to a bit of snooping around Dhruva Interactive – claims that this may not necessarily happen in the long run.

Dhruva Interactive is an Indian game development company based in Bangalore. They’ve worked on 3D assets for more than a handful of big name projects, one of their prime specialties being in the racing genre. In fact, Dhruva has done work on both existing Forza titles, as well as Project Gotham Racing 3 and 4. According to our inside-man, Dhruva has already been working hard for the third entry in the series, confirming that Forza 3 is very much a reality and that we should be seeing a proper revealing of it “fairly soon” (We’re guessing he means E3). More importantly, we questioned the possibility of Forza 3 being distributed on more than one disc. Our source was quick to comment that “one way or the other, the core game will be shipped on a single disc. Content won’t be sacrificed… fans will be pleasantly surprised for what’s in store.” With regards to any sort of additional features or an expected release date, our man clammed up and refused to comment. Rest assured, our fists thoroughly shook in the air in protest.

Certainly would be interesting to see how this will further pan out. Now comes the long, enduring wait on Microsoft’s part. E3 2008, I choose you!

Eidos Interactive have updated their web, where you can listen to the main musical theme of upcoming game, and also they added box art. Dont know why, but I dont see Lara’s face here, only her.. boobs and other stuff, Lara becomes a slut?

The company said that the game is on track to ship on June 20 in Europe and June 24 in North America for Xbox 360, PC, Wii and PlayStation 2. The PlayStation 3 version is scheduled for release in autumn 2008.

“With its genre-busting mix of gameplay, wide-screen presentation style and DVD chapter select feature putting the player in control, Alone in the Dark will thrill all gamers,” said Phil Harrison, president of Infogrames.

“It’s a game which will challenge the player but also reward them with a one-of-a-kind videogame experience and a huge amount of fun.”

The Xbox 360 and PC versions of the title were developed by Eden Games, while Hydravision Entertainment was responsible for the Wii and PS2 versions.

In addition to the standard game, Xbox 360, PC and Wii Limited Editions featuring exclusive items will be available at launch from selected European retailers.

Speaking to investors in a quarterly financial conference call today, Take-Two Interactive chairman Strauss Zelnick confirmed that plans exist for a third BioShock game, which will likely coincide with the release of the Gore Verbinski-directed film version of the game franchise.

At the tail end of the call, when asked when Take-Two expects the Verbinski film to hit theatres, Zelnick responded, “Its unlikely the picture would be released coincident with BioShock 2. It’s more likely it would be released coincident with BioShock 3.”

It’s been less than three months since Take-Two execs officially confirmed its plans for BioShock 2, which will be handled by the company’s new 2K Marin studio. BioShock 2 is set for release in Q4 of Take-Two’s fiscal year 2009.

No platforms for BioShock 3 were announced on today’s conference call, and there was no mention of which studio will be involved with the project.

Ages of Conan developer Funcom has apologised for erm, accidentally reducing the breast size of all of the female characters in its MMO.

The apology comes after many Age of Conan users spotted the breast reduction on their female game characters and complained on the official forums, even providing photo evidence of the boob job.

“Funcom can confirm that some of the female models in the game have had the size of their breasts changed,” the company said in a statement. “This is due to an unintended change in data that was introduced in an earlier patch, data which controls the so-called morph values associated with character models and the size of their respective body parts.

“We are working on a fix for this and your breasts should be back to normal soon.” Right on time as well - we were about to return our copies to the shops in a strop.

A strong performance is expected from the head-chopping MMO, which has already lobbed GTA IV off the top spot in several European countries.
