The latest rumour in Quatermann’s section of EGM this month, speculates that Rockstar’s first upcoming DLC pack for GTA IV (exclusive to the Xbox 360 platform) will introduce an unknown, mysterious biker character. Not much else is known at all, but apparently, you can also expect more new characters to be revealed in DLC episode 2 as well.

Surfing Youtube, got my eye on crazy video about a man who run GTA 4 on PC.

Sure many of you have seen it. And probably thought it’s FAKE!

So, believe it or not, here are real ways on how to run GTA 4 on PC. I got Xbox 360 so I can play GTA 4 in original way, but if someone wants to play it on PC – here are very useful tactics. Try and enjoy!

So lets go .

First Way – Xbox 360 Emulator

1.) Download GTA 4 Xbox 360 DVD-rip or ISO ( torrents )

2.) Download Xbox 360 Emulator and Programs here

3.) Extract emulators to the different folder

4.) Open xISO program, click OK on the pop-up’ed message

5.) Tools -> xISO Studio -> Load GTA 4 ISO/RIP here -> File -> Save (Wait ~ 10 min.)

Done? Good! Let’s continue!

6.) Open Xbox Backup Creator. Then, Options -> Drive Specific, and mark D162C ; Xbox 360. Then, Image Tools -> Xbox ISO Type, mark Xbox 360 there and click Image Browser

7.) File -> Open Image File -> Choose downloaded GTA 4 ISO rip. Then choose default.xex file -> right click -> Extract (choose directory)

8.) Find that default.xex file and rename it to default.xbe

9.) Open xISO program again. Tools -> Patchs -> “XBE: Devkit -> Retail”. Then choose renamed file and click OK. “Patched Successful” message appears. OK

10.) Open Xeon program and get this message: “Xeon.ini not found, writing new file with defaults. Startup complete Close it.

11.) Open Xeon program again. Options -> General -> UNmark “Use Log File” and “Show Framerate”. Then adjust Graphics and Audio options as you want.

12.) File -> Load XBE -> Choose default.xbe file, the renamed one. Click OK. Error message appears. Click OK one more time.

13.) File -> Load XBE -> Choose your rip as .XISO and click OK

Second Way – PS3 Emulator

1.) Get GTA 4 playstation 3 disk ( from torrents for example ) and download emulators here

2.) Download BIOSes for emulator here

3.) Extract Emulator. Find BIOS folder in root catalog. Put there downloaded BIOSes. Then load ePSXe.exe

4.) Config -> Wizard Guide. Do all setups as you want and click OK

5.) Switch xPSXe OFF and then ON again. Put GTA 4 CD in your rom

6.) eSPXe click File -> Run CDROM

Try and post in comments about your successes . Maybe you get luck and it runs on your pc ;)

VG Chartz has today announced that according to their early sell-through data, Grand Theft Auto 4 has sold a record 2.5 million units in its first day of sales. GTA IV has been universally acclaimed upon release and the titles day 1 sales places the title in the upper echelon of industry hits - those that are universally loved by both critics and by casual gamers.

Data for the first day of GTAIV sales shows that the game sold roughly at a 6:4 ratio in favor of Xbox 360 to PS3 in the Americas. While that means the game sold better on Xbox 360, it had a higher attach rate on PS3 - the same story was the case in the UK according to an earlier report by Chart Track.

A man in San Diego engaged in a real-life GTA IV police chase yesterday, after nicking three copies of the game from the local game shop.

Dennis Richard Fiel, 27, entered his local GameStop store in Mira Mesa at about 10:30 a.m. and sprayed employees with Mace, before running off with three copies of GTA IV.

Fiel immediately gained three stars, and the Police were in hot pursuit both on the ground and from a helicopter, chasing the white Toyota pickup truck he used to flee the crime scene.

He was eventually captured at a Japanese BBQ restaurant, where he surrendered to police. Busted.

Stealing GTA IV isn’t considered a grand theft, but this bloke probably isn’t happy with his felony robbery charges, we imagine.

GTA 4 Goes 1120×630 On PS3

According to Quaz51, the internet tech warrior that brought word of MGO’s resolution-based shortcomings over the weekend, has posted here (post number 513) claiming that the PS3 version of GTA IV runs at 630p (1120×630) compared to the 360 version’s 720p (1280×720).

This appears to mean that the 360 version has a whopping 24.5 percent extra resolution over the PS3 game.

Quaz51 still reckons the PS3 version looks better, however, due to superior processing effects.

We’re reliably informed that the tech community has been kept guessing on the issue by the fact that Rockstar appears to have only ever released Xbox 360 screens of the game.

So, this is it - EPIC GTA 4 review by IGN. This review contains every aspect of this incredible game, and also comparing of 360 and PS3 versions, and review of a multiplayer mode. Enjoy.

Criminals are an ugly, cowardly lot more worthy of pity and disdain than admiration. This is what you’ll learn playing through the single-player campaign in Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV. The series cheered (and criticized) for glorifying violence has taken an unexpected turn: it’s gone legit. Oh sure, you’ll still blow up cop cars, run down innocent civilians, bang hookers, assist drug dealers and lowlifes and do many, many other bad deeds, but at a cost to main character Niko Bellic’s very soul. GTA IV gives us characters and a world with a level of depth previously unseen in gaming and elevates its story from a mere shoot-em-up to an Oscar-caliber drama. Every facet of Rockstar’s new masterpiece is worthy of applause. Without question, Grand Theft Auto IV is the best game since Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

FIRST GTA 4 Video Review + Gameplay

What do we have here? First GTA 4 video review. Yes, REVIEW, containing gameplay, and containing lots of stuff never shown before

GTA IV On PC? MAYBE NOT

Anybody here isn’t crazy for GTA IV? 360 gamers running a muck about it and their DLC with PS3 fans going crazy over finally playing one of the most anticipated titles to date. Even the PC crowd is joining in on the action and asking about when it’s likely GTA will come for the PC.

So, what Rockstar tells about it?

As for GTA IV coming out on the PC, that’s very doubtful as we currently have no plans to develop for the PC. We could only focus our efforts extensively on so many consoles at once, and PC might not see the light of day.

Looks amazing… No words, only emotions..
